It’s a fish. I can see it.
Light, but vibrant azure scales Glisten as it swings Transforming water into air, Nourishing itself with ease
At times, it lets the water lead Letting the universe guide it where it will Allowing murky depths to pass, And blessings to come forth
Other times, it confronts the current With freedom and resilience Claiming what is its right Loving the journey, learning through it
Sometimes, it’s singular Proudly flaunting its scales Its beauty innate in its knowing Calling all water it’s home
Sometimes, it’s a school Swimming in tandem, in joy Each one strengthening the other Nestled together in their cove
It belongs to the world, And the world belongs to it.
